What to include in your enquiry

Importers usually send the same six details. Include them and we can quote in one reply:

  • Variant — Natural Black or Scalded White.
  • Grade by piece weight in grams — A (800 g+), B (600–799 g) or C (599 g and below), or your own range.
  • Volume — a trial container first, then the number of containers a month.
  • Packing — carton net weight, liner and carton marks, if different from our 20 kg standard.
  • Destination port and Incoterm — FOB Chattogram, CFR Hong Kong or CFR Haiphong.
  • Payment — T/T or L/C at sight, plus any species or documentation requirement from your import permit.

Choosing an omasum exporter in Bangladesh

Bangladesh has around 40 active omasum exporters, with exports of US$12.78 million in FY2024–25 up to May, according to The Business Standard. Customs data from Export Genius shows 18 exporters shipping 78 consignments between May 2025 and April 2026. Most sell through brokers and marketplace listings without a published specification.

Before you commit a container to any Bangladeshi exporter, check that they give you:

  • A written specification with grades by piece weight in grams, not only “A grade”.
  • The processing method for white omasum, in writing — hot-water scalding, not hydrogen peroxide, caustic soda, formaldehyde or quicklime.
  • A veterinary health certificate from the Department of Livestock Services and a chamber Certificate of Origin.
  • Stock photographs against a scale, and samples on request.
  • A counter-sample retained from the contracted lot.
  • Documentation from previous shipments that cleared import in your market.

Questions importers ask

Where is Ubaid Imperial based, and which port do you ship from?

We are based in Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Omasum is loaded at Chattogram, or at any Bangladeshi sea port if your contract requires it.

What is your minimum order and monthly capacity?

The minimum order is 14 MT, one 20 ft container of 700 × 20 kg cartons. We can supply up to two 40 ft containers a month.

Is your omasum cattle or buffalo?

Both. Our omasum is mainly cattle, about 92%, with about 8% buffalo. Cattle and buffalo omasum are packed together in the same lot, so we do not offer cattle-only lots. If your import permit or customer specifies a species, tell us at enquiry and we confirm before contract.

Which markets do you export omasum to?

We sell to food importers and wholesalers in Hong Kong and Vietnam. Previous Ubaid Imperial consignments have cleared import in both markets.

Which export documents do you supply?

Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, Certificate of Origin, veterinary health certificate from the Department of Livestock Services, salt-treatment declaration and EXP form, plus a pre-shipment inspection report where required. Import permits in the destination country are arranged by the buyer.

Why is there no price list?

Price depends on variant, grade, volume, packing and freight on the day of quotation, so we quote each enquiry in writing.

Can I get samples before ordering?

Yes. Samples are sent on request by a courier you arrange, together with stock photographs against a scale.

Tell us your grade, volume and port

We reply with a written quotation, stock photographs against a scale and the desalted yield basis — and confirm the documents for your consignment before anything is signed.
